The End of the road

Off the Map is now completed.


This week has been a matter of placing Dan's assets into the level because he was the only one without access to Unreal Engine. As a result of this there was not much for Dan to do other than send textures that the others had missed. The only thing that he could really do was to make sure that his assets and textures were organised correctly to make it easier for the rest of the team. This allowed him to finish up on the work from Critical studies, also due on Friday.


Ayden and Kat worked all week to finish the level by then. In the end the Garden was made smaller as well as the forest level; the fairy tree part was cut entirely due to time constraints. As well as this the forest was also made smaller. Once the level was built the lighting has to be built, which took a very long time; almost three hours.


For the Matinee we decided to include various shots of the level in such a way that it would show the path that the player would be taking as they went through the level.
